The school had once had a pond in the reception area but because potential health and safety issues had become a concern, it was quickly filled in as part of their ongoing maintenance programme. EMS were asked to screed finish the area to bring it to the existing floor level and to repair damaged plaster to a walled area around the reception window. The wall was skimmed using a bonding multi-finish suitable for painting as part of the maintenance programme.
