At the request of Horizon Construction (London) Ltd., EWI Ltd were asked to submit recommendations, timeline and a proposal and estimate for the installation of a decorative external wall rendering system to the front of the building with an added insulation system to the flank of the construction.
EWI Ltd recommended the BBA and BDA approved Fassa Bortolo render System with the additional Fassa Therm external wall insulation system adding to the flank to increase the u-value together with the A1 fire rated mineral wool slab.
The specification was approved by both Horizon Construction (London) Ltd., and the Barnet Council Building Control. The contract was agreed and works began soon after on 4th September 2023.
